Tony McCray, Sr. (1925?-1994) was a longtime news director for radio station WBOP.

Raised at Belmont and A Streets, McCray graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Florida Normal College in St. Augustine before being drafted into the Army. He later attended the Florida A&M Vocational School before returning to Pensacola, working in construction and then public relations. In addition to his career at WBOP, McCray was active in the Pensacola Negro Junior Chamber of Commerce, helped found the Black Little League in Pensacola, and worked for the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation at the state level. He was also active in Belmont-Devilliers neighborhood revitalization efforts.

He died of cancer in 1994 at age 69.
