Changes

Jones was appointed principal when [[J. P. Cone, Jr.|Principal Cone]] transferred to District Office in [[1994]]. During his tenure, he presided over a number of tumultuous events including the series of bomb threats in the 1995-96 school year and the PHS football team sex scandal.{{fact}} He transferred to District Office in [[1997]], leaving Pensacola High School with an interim principal for a short time, until [[Larry Huntley]] was appointed to replace him.
