Levin, Papantonio, Thomas, Mitchell, Echsner & Proctor, P.A. is a Pensacola law firm specializing in personal injury and product liability cases. It was founded as Levin & Askew by David Levin and Reubin Askew in 1955. Fred Levin joined the firm in 1961 and eventually became head partner. It was known for a time as Levin, Middlebrooks, Mabie, Thomas, Mayes & Mitchell, among other names.
The firm is most known for playing a major role in the $13.2 billion settlement won by the State of Florida against the tobacco industry in 1998.
