Attucks Court is a housing project located along West Cervantes Street between F, I and De Soto Streets. It was built in the 1940s as a segregated, blacks-only companion to the Aragon Court project.
Attucks Court is one of several sites operated by the Area Housing Commission to provide affordable rental housing to low-income families. About 500 residents live in its 172 units at any given time.
The project is served by the nearby Fricker Community Center and Westside Library.
