Jo Hovind was convicted on 45 counts of evading bank-reporting requirements. She was sentenced on [[June 29]], [[2007]], to serve one year and one day in federal prison, as well as to pay $8,000 in fines and to submit to three years of court supervision once released. Hovind and her attorney are appealing both the guilty verdict and the sentence.
