→Is Pensapedia Dead and Gone Forever?: new section
Was browsing the site and found something that wanted correction (a red link for which there is a page but under a slightly different name) but without a login it looks like my edits won't take. I think I might be able to make a few more contributions - I have some original photos from the NAS which would not be under anyone else's copyright that I might contribute plus some other things, however, I cannot find a registration function which branches off the login page on most wikis. Am an editor in wikipedia - not terribly prolific but my edits persist because I know what I am doing and on several wikispot wikis as well as being a long term editor on DMOZ and a publisher of many sites. Is there some way I might get a login for Pensapedia? I also don't find any easy messaging system besides talk and I don't want to leave my email/contact details in the clear. Joe (not you Joe - me Joe)

If so, it's a damn shame. Pensacola has such a rich, complex heritage - really fascinating. I'm amazed that nobody there has kept the ball rolling on this site. Did everybody migrate to some other history website? Or just don't give a damn. I miss my hometown, but at this late age with health problems will probably never see it again. When I was a kid in school, there were no books on Penascola history in the public library - just brief mentions in works about Florida, or on other topics. Now I see there are a boatload of books on the subject. Wish this site was still percolating, it would be a wonderful resource for old-timers and schoolkids alike. Ah well, it was a great idea while it lasted. RIP Pensapedia. [[User:Textorus|Textorus]] ([[User talk:Textorus|talk]]) 01:09, 17 February 2025 (CST)
