'''The After Burner''' was the first live-entertainment bottle club, and located in the Town and Country Plaza shopping center. It was owned and operated by model Sana Severin, whose husband Fritz was the singer for the house band Flame and The Heaters. It was patronized mostly by off-work nightclub employees, musicians, and customers of Machinegun Kelly's and 2001 Disco. After approximately two years in business,'''The After Burner''' closed in the fall of 1981.
