What about Lloyd Street? Named for Miss Lloyd of Mobile who married Wm. Franklin Lee. When Mr. Lee surveyed these streets he named them Lee and Lloyd so that he and Miss Lloyd could forever lie side-by-side. I heard this story from William F. Lee, a grandson.
