The Gulf Power Crist Plant is apparently named after "James F. Crist." The only things I see online is that he wrote a book about the power companies called They Electrified the South and [ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mo/caldwell/cemeteries/cameron.txt] assuming it's the same guy, he died in 1980 — a year before the book was published. Maybe everyone felt bad that this guy doing research on the company died before his book got finished? --Admin 16:31, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

::Okay, apparently James F. Crist was the president of Gulf Power from 1948-55. (I asked for some historical stuff when I was there yesterday.) — admin • talk 17:42, 10 August 2008 (CDT)
