The First Judicial Circuit Court of Florida represents the state court of superior general original jurisdiction for Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
Circuit court judges are elected to six-year terms in nonpartisan elections. The number of judges is dependent on the population and caseload of the circuit.
