The San Carlos Hotel was completed in [[1910]]. It was designed by New York architect W. L. Stoddard and erected by local firm [[C. H. Turner]] Construction Co. at a cost of $500,000. The San Carlos Hotel closed in [[1982]] and was demolished in [[1993]].
