B'nai Israel Congregation has a history going back over 120 years. The Synagogue started in [[1899]] as the local [[Wikipedia:Orthodox Judaism|orthodox Jewish]] congregation. In 1955, the synagogue became a [[Wikipedia:Conservative Judaism|conservative]] congregation.

The synagogue hosts [[Wikipedia:Shabbat|Shabbat]] Friday night and Saturday morning services, High Holy Day Services, Adult education, Conversion classes, Sunday morning Tallit and Tefillin, and Adult [[Wikipedia:Hebrew|Hebrew]] Classes.

B'nai Israel has a kosher kitchen, and is egalitarian between men and women and their participation in services.
