NeverthelessIn the 1980s it temporarily closed, it stayed open but reopened for approximately 15 several more years before finally permanently closing in the late 1980s. The building was soon demolished, the pool filled in, and as late as 2013 2015 the lot was still empty except for the asphalt parking lot area and a small chain link fence.
