Captain '''John Jerrison''' was twice a [[mayor of Pensacola]], from [[1825]] to [[1828]], and again from [[1829]] to [[1830]].

Eventually setting in Pensacola, Jerrison was elected numerous times to Pensacola's Board of Alderman, and twice served four years as Mayor. At the time of his death, Jerrison was serving as the clerk of the [[Pensacola Navy Yard]].
