- 1791 – William Panton writes to Alexander McGillivray regarding the theft of Panton, Leslie & Company goods by William Augustus Bowles and demanding "Satisfaction from the [Creek] Nation" and "the Life of that Villain Bowls."[1]
- 1842 – All land on Foster's Bank (Perdido Key) within one mile from Fort McRee, or 109.9 acres, is reserved by executive order and declared a military reservation.
- 1973 - Snow fell in Pensacola
