- 1911 – The Pensacola Navy Yard is ordered closed by Secretary of the Navy George von Lengerke Meyer.
- 2006 – The Pensacola City Council selects $20 million Hawkshaw Eastside plan for a city-owned parcel off 9th Avenue.
- 2007 – Patrick Nobles is sentenced to ten years in state prison for violating the terms of his probation related to the August 20, 2003 DUI-manslaughter death of Todd Currie.
