- 1760 – A hurricane strikes the Presidio San Miguel de Panzacola.
- 1918 – Naval Aeronautical Station aviators Garrett T. Mandeville, August Copp, and Guy B. Fraley are killed when their seaplane crashes into Pensacola Bay.[1]
