The Lee House Bed & Breakfast Inn is a two-story bed and breakfast-style establishment located at 400 Bayfront Parkway, formerly the site of the historic William F. Lee House, for which it is named. It is owned by Patrick E. Murray and Norma Fleming Murray, who purchased the land from West Florida Historic Preservation Inc. in 2006 after a deal with restaurateur Robert de Varona fell through.[1] The individual rooms were decorated by several of the area's foremost interior designers as part of the Symphony Showhouse fundraiser, which opened the Lee House for tours in December 2008 — the same month that Varona's restaurant closed its doors after less than a year in business.
It will open for business in January 2009.
