George Fuller was a movie exhibitor who operated theaters in Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Warrington and Fairhope. In 1938 he won a $3,000 antitrust lawsuit against the Saenger Amusement Company and seven major distributors. Fuller contended that two Saenger executives, Gaston Dureau Jr. and Harold Wilkes, pressured movie studios not to sell films to him or other competitors. The settlement also included an agreement to provide adequate films to the Fairhope theater, which Fuller no longer operated personally.[1]
