John W. "Jack" Nobles is an at-large member of the Pensacola City Council, representing the entire City of Pensacola, as well as a senior vice president of Bank of Pensacola.

A City Council Member since 1994, Jack is Senior Vice President of Bank of Pensacola. He has degrees from Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida and has been active in numerous groups, including the Navy League, the Fiesta of Five Flags, the Downtown Improvement Board, the Monkey Boat Billfish Tournament and East Hill Christian School.

Jack and his wife Molly have three children. Jack attends First Baptist Church of Pensacola.

Running for reelection, Nobles finished second out of three candidates in the November 2008 general election. Nobles and first-place finisher Diane Mack were to proceed to a runoff election, but just days after the general election, Nobles withdrew from the race, stating in part:

I sense, though, that [my] views are probably inconsistent with a majority of our new City Council in terms of the pace and direction of change. I see no real purpose for my community or myself in my continuing participation.
