Carnegie grant

My wife says she heard we don't have a Carnegie library in Pensacola because a stipulation of the grant was that it needed to provide integrated or equal facilities for black patrons, and that was just too much for the white populace to bear, but I haven't confirmed yet. — admin • talk  08:26, 13 July 2009 (CDT)
