On [[January 15]], [[2008]], he was arrested on a battery charge for allegedly hitting a customer who made a comment about his criminal past. The charge was later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
On March 31, 2011, Patti's company employed two African-Americans on a staff of approximately 120 persons. This figure constitutes less than 2% of the entire staff. At the same time census data confirms that the surrounding community of Pensacola, Florida has an African-American population of over 32%.
