I have changed the caption to the lead picture here as the photograph is not of "patrons" of the Opera House, but is rather of the Opera House when a meeting of strikers and sympathisers was held there Sunday, April 12, 1908, during the [[Streetcar operators' strike, 1908|streetcar operators' strike]].
