March 28 – Erin Markes is arrested by Santa Rosa Sheriff's officials after her 4-year-old child was hospitalized for apparent neglect. March 28 – Owners of the defunct Saufley Landfill are ordered to pay $677,397 in civil penalties to the Florida DEP. March 27 – The Pensacola City Council votes unanimously to demolish the circa-1885 building at 719-721 South Palafox Street. March 26 – Jay Elementary School PTO president Jennifer Wolters is arrested for allegedly using more than $1,500 of the group's money at Bixoli casinos.
