Ernest E. Harper
Ernest E. Harper was a Pensacola police officer and later a member of the Pensacola City Commission.

After graduating school, Harper worked briefly in the retail grocery business before joining the Pensacola Police Department. Harper served in the Department for 17 years, and eventually served as Chief of Police.
In 1927, Harper was appointed to the Pensacola City Commission after the death of Commissioner Frank Dent Sanders. He was reelected in 1929.
