Cross Street

Cross Street is an east-west street in Pensacola, running through the Pinecrest, Englewood, Eastside, and East Hill neighborhoods. Before streets north of Wright and east of 8th Avenue were named, that part of Cross Street was known as 24th Street.

Cross Street's western terminus is at Matthew Lane, and its eastern terminus is at Yates Avenue near Bayou Texar. This length, however, is not contiguous, with a number of gaps.

Cross Street is interrupted in the following places:

• From Mission Road to a point west of North Z Street
• From North S Street to North Q Street, by C. A. Weis Elementary School
• From Pace Boulevard to North I Street
• From North D Street to North Palafox Street
