The latest and fifteenth pastor of Greater Union Baptist Church is the Reverend [[Hugh King|Hugh G. King, Sr.]]; King was suspended as pastor by the congregation in May [[2007]] after he was arrested and charged with cocaine possession. Hugh King is the fifteenth pastor of Greater Union Baptist Church; he was called to pastor in the spring of [[2004]] after the death of the church's previous pastor, his father, the Reverend [[A. J. King, Sr.|Dr. A. J. King, Sr.]].
