In [[the mid 1950's]] another 1,350-seat building was added.
The Martine's complex housed the first [[Kentucky Fried Chicken]] franchise in the area, opening in 1959 1962 and closing in 1988.
Martine's restaurant closed in [[1973]]. Martine's business office closed in 1989 and the building became dilapidated over the next decade and a half.
