Jo Hovind

Jo Hovind is best known as the wife of Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind. On November 2, 2006, the Hovinds were convicted in federal court of various crimes related to tax evasion and financial impropriety.

Jo Hovind was convicted on 45 counts of evading bank-reporting requirements. She was sentenced on June 29, 2007, to serve one year and one day in federal prison, as well as to pay $8,000 in fines and to submit to three years of court supervision once released. Hovind and her attorney are appealing both the guilty verdict and the sentence.
