- 1757 – Spanish King Ferdinand VI issues royal orders naming settlement near San Miguel mission (near today's Seville Square) 'Presidio San Miguel de Panzacola.'
- 1970 - Opening night for The Castle Lounge, located at 500 East Gregory Street. Entertainment was provided by Jimmy Clark and The Flaming Stars.
- 2007 – Hugh King announces his resignation as pastor of Greater Union Baptist Church.
