Binkley Street is located in Ferry Pass just south of Johnson Avenue and just east of Davis Highway, and about 2 miles from Pensacola Bay. From the looks of this street, it is rather nondescript. But from about 1970 to about 1977, it was filled with children, and the wild and wooly world that only children can create with their collective imaginations. The epicenter for this activity was at 8109 Binkley Street, at the time just 2 houses down from Olive Road. This was the home of the Cooper family made up of Milledge and Dorothy and their two children Patsy and Scottie.
