Jack Stephens Hall was a US naval officer, pilot, flight instructor, and it is documented at the Naval Aviation Museum that he was the first announcer/narrator for the 1946 Blue Angel air shows. He had also announced many Blue Angel air shows in the 1950's and even as late as 1968 at Corry Field. He had been a fighter and bomber pilot in both WW2 and Korea, a flight instructor to several Blue Angel pilots, and an instructor in nighttime maneuvers to England's Royal Air Force in the 1950's. His last assignment was as Administrative Officer at Saufley Field from 1962-64, just before his retirement at the rank of Commander. In his civilian years, Cdr Hall was a professor of business at Pensacola Junior College, treasurer for the Fireman's Fund, and member of the Human Relations Commision, Action '76, and Kiwanis Club. Cdr Hall died of cancer on January 3,1984, and was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
