Mike Danger

Mike Danger was the stage name of John Michael Apperson, best known for being a wrestler, singer, standup comic, daredevil, wearing a Mohawk-style haircut, loud attire and incorporating a chainsaw into his stage antics -much of which he accomplished after losing his eyesight in his late twenties due to diabetes and an automobile accident. In his younger days he was a world competition skateboarder and was the subject of over 100 articles in various surf & skateboard magazines and in various newspapers. He was less than 50 years old when he died in August, 2006, from complications of diabetes.
