Clarence V. "Clay" Ford, Jr. is a Republican politician, currently serving as the District 3 Representative to the Florida State House. Ford succeeded Holly Benson in the seat, winning a February 2007 special election, held after Benson vacated the seat to take a position in Florida governor Charlie Crist's cabinet. Ford previously served for 16 years on the Gulf Breeze City Council.

Biography
Ford was born in Wynne, Arkansas. Ford served on the Gulf Breeze City Council from 1990-2007 and as the Mayor pro tem of Gulf Breeze from 2001-2007. He served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1975-76. He was elected as a member of the Arkansas Constitutional Convention in 1976.
