Clay Ford

Clarence V. "Clay" Ford, Jr. is a Republican politician, currently serving as the District 3 Representative to the Florida State House. Ford succeeded Holly Benson in the seat, winning a February 2007 special election, held after Benson vacated the seat to take a position in Florida governor Charlie Crist's cabinet. Ford previously served for 16 years on the Gulf Breeze City Council.

Ford was born in Wynne, Arkansas .

Ford served on the Gulf Breeze City Council from 1990-2007 and as the Mayor pro tem of Gulf Breeze from 2001-2007.
