Martin Luther King Plaza is a memorial park on the Palafox Street median (location of the old trolley tracks) between Chase and Gregory Streets. The park honors the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A bust of Dr. King is the centerpiece of the plaza and has been victim to numerous vandalism attempts.

The Palafox Market is held here on Saturday mornings in the summer.
