- 1982 - Rock bands Foreigner, Loverboy, Ozzy Osbourne, and LeRoux perform at City Park Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 1988 - Rock band AC/DC performs at the civic center.
- 2000 – Trader Jon's, which had closed in 1998, is purchased for $465,000 by Navy flight instructor Matt Heckemeyer.
- 2008 – Tom Bonfield ends his tenure as Pensacola City Manager.
