Pensapedia:FAQ
This is a list of frequently asked questions about using and contributing to Pensapedia.
Contents
How do I create a new page?
See Help:Starting an article and Pensapedia:How to start a new article. Please make sure the article's subject meets Pensapedia's notability requirements and avoid writing about yourself (so-called "vanity pages"), even if you are a notable person, as it would be impossible to write with a neutral point of view.
Why has my article been deleted?
If you created an article and cannot find it now, it may have been deleted. You can check the deletion log to confirm. The most common reason for deletion is a failure to meet notability requirements. Another possibility is that the article was moved to better fit Pensapedia's naming conventions.
How do I edit information on a page?
For most pages, just click the "edit" tab at the top of the page and edit the source code. Please include a short explanation of your edit in the "Summary" field before saving the edit, and do not delete information that is accurate without discussing it first on the talk page. Some pages are protected, in which case you can request a change on the article's talk page.
How do I add an image to an article?
See Pensapedia:Uploading images. Be sure to add an appropriate image copyright tag in the upload "Summary" box. If you took the picture or own its copyright, tags like {{PD-self}}
or {{cc-by-sa}}
will indicate you release the image into the public domain or under a Creative Commons license, respectively.
