Philip Dane Beall Sr. Memorial Bridge
The Philip Dane Beall Sr. Memorial Bridge, also known as the Pensacola Bay Bridge or colloquially as the Three-Mile Bridge, spans a three-mile section of Pensacola Bay and is the main artery from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach.
The bridge was dedicated on October 31, 1960,[1] replacing the 30-year-old Thomas A. Johnson Bridge (which subsequently became a fishing pier).
It was named in honor of Florida Senator Philip D. Beall, Sr..
