Revellers of Ariola crest

Revellers of Ariola is the oldest extant Mardi Gras organization in the Pensacola area, having held its first ball on January 28, 1910.[1] It is named for Andrés de Arriola, who established a Spanish colony in the Pensacola area in 1698. Every year the group crowns a Queen of Ariola (usually a debutante from a family involved with the organization) and her court.
