- 1784 – Manuel Gonzalez joins the Spanish army, which sends him to the New World.
- 1929 – A fire destroys the second Temple Beth-El building on Chase Street.
- 1966 – The Frisco Docks, built by the Frisco Railroad and later sold to the Pensacola Port Authority, is destroyed by fire.
