Blount Street is an east-west street in downtown Pensacola. Primarily a residential street, Blount traverses West Pensacola and continues into East Hill. Blount Street is named in honour of William Alexander Blount, Sr. Before streets north of Wright/east of 8th Avenue were named, that part of Blount Street was 12th Street.
Blount's current western terminus is at Dominquez Street in West Pensacola; from there it travels easterly, with several interruptions, to its eastern terminus at 20th Avenue, in front of Bayview Park.
