- 1969 – The Roland Davis Memorial Training Center is established in honor of Escambia County Sheriff Bill Davis's father.
- 2004 – Jeff Bergosh reclaims the Escambia County School Board seat held by his wife Carissa following his return from deployment in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
- 2005 – The Pensacola City Council holds a reconsideration vote on their previous approval of the Community Maritime Park concept. It passes 8-2, with Jewel Cannada-Wynn joining Marty Donovan in dissent.
