Music as Message is a Pensacola firm that creates educational and promotional campaigns using music and cartoon characters. It was founded by Ross Orenstein and Mona Amodeo, Ph.D., and is headquartered (alongside Amodeo's idgroup) in the Shumpert Building at 300 East Intendencia Street.
The company's mission is "to make a positive difference in communities by delivering motivating messages through fun characters and music." They have created campaigns for the National Crime Prevention Council and Rotary International, and in 2007 they launched the "Think Ecologically" campaign featuring "Eco the Butterfly" for the American Advertising Federation's 4th District.
