- 1844 – Jonathan Walker sails east from Pensacola with seven slaves who were "disposed to leave the place."
- 1975 – Chuck Baldwin, along with his wife and four others, establish Crossroad Baptist Church.
- 2006 – The Pensacola City Council votes to name the $3 million park at Palafox Pier "Plaza de Luna," after Tristán de Luna y Arellano.
