Big Sexy Food is a catering company founded in 2001 by chefs Jack McNulty, John Murphy and Chris Kimberl, who in 2003 set up shop at 405 East Gonzalez Street, formerly the Home Bakery. The company opened a second location in the Trader Jon's building at 511 South Palafox Street in 2006, which is used for special events. In 2008, the company a lunchtime bistro called Nooner Café in the Palafox location, but it closed only a few months later. Chef McNulty left the business the same year.
