David Williams is the principal and former assistant principal of Pensacola High School. He also is a former teacher and "Teacher of the Year" of the school.

Williams was appointed Assistant Principal of Facilities and Maintenance after Assistant Principal Lorin Lovely retired in 2004. As assistant principal, Williams saw many events, including the destruction of Pensacola High's gym and auditorium by Hurricane Ivan the year he was appointed. It was hotly debated as to who would be appointed principal after Principal Sara Lewis retired at the end of the school year in 2008, but it was decided that summer that it would be Williams. He was replaced as assistant principal by Thomas Rollins, a former math instructor from West Florida High School.
