- 1976 - Soul music artists The Fifth Dimension performs at the UWF Field House.
- 2001 – Anti-abortion activist John Burt is arrested at the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence and violating a noise ordinance.
- 2008 – 15-year-old Daryl Williams is killed in a shooting incident at the Burger King on Pensacola Boulevard. Jamal Lee, 17, is later arrested and charged with murder.
- 2019 - Gary Sinise and the Lt Dan Band performed at the Naval Aviation Museum auditorium.
