Jonathan Owens was born and raised in District 1 of Escambia County and is currently the Escambia County Commissioner's Aide for District 2. He has served as the Commissioner's aide since Commissioner Doug Underhill's election to this board in November of 2014. In 2020 he primaried Commissioner Jeff Bergosh of District 1 and received 22.48% of the vote. Bergosh only received 38.71% of the overall vote.
