- 1872 – Francis Celestino Brent marries Mary Ella Shuttleworth.
- 1890 – The Provisional Municipality of Pensacola passes a resolution allowing the Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company to erect poles in the city.[1]
- 1917 – Rosebud Spann, a young black woman, is "attacked by white men and dragged from her buggy into the woods."[2]
- 2007 – Vandalism of several dozen headstones is discovered in Pfeiffer Cemetery.
